24bit issue

hi im new to scope and have a quick question. im trying to do everything in 24 bit so i set up asio2 24bit source and asio2 dest. Everything looks and works fine but when i go into cubase i see under vst outputs in my device setup that my first 2 ports are in 16bit, it shows: (1 Out1L Scope 16-bit and 2 Out1R Scope 16-bit) and the rest of the output ports are in 24-bit as well as all my vst inputs. y is it that these 2 asio outs are in 16 bit and how do i get them 24? thanks

post a picture of your scope screen ( with all the cables and modules) and we'll take it from there.

it's a known cubase error. don't worry about it.

heres 2 screenshots.is my routing correct and garyb when u say dont worry about it u mean its 24 bit even though it sais 16?

Click Reset in Cubase/Audio devices/VST outputs.

yes, that'll fix it, as should a restart of the program. it's only an error in type, not in recording or playback, afaik.
