A concerning audio log has reach me today, one of our scientists from our research crew, left on Mars, reports of strange things going on.
Seriously, I had some time today (hurray) and tried to get into some kind of minimal music composing.
Repeating patterns (melody, sequence) with some small variations from time to time. It was the first time I made subliminally tempo changes on a whole track, it was interesting to learn that.
Anyway, I lost the main minimal idea during the recordings and ended in a strange track with demons and a dying scientist.

Also I was curious to do some post processing on voice recordings.
I played to much computer games recently.
I haven“t squezzed out any dynamic of this track, so the track could be a bit quiet.

Yeah Brotha'.
This is a really cool recording.
Nice Piano ambience during the voice,
The subliminal tempo changes worked well as I didn;t ever feel locked into a grove or tempo, and noticed no changes.
You compositions add such quality and variety to the threads, please continue to bless us with your talents,
BTW I really still love the OBX-c you made.
I await further remarkable compositions from you.

Thanks Brotha,
interesting about the tempo changes, main tempo was set to 104 and varies linear up to 112 and down to 96 within cycles of 32 bars.
Your expectation will be complied

Superb track Chris & welcome back.
Choice of instrumentation is perfect. Nice mix - not too quiet on my rig.
Best thing you've done for ages (well, it's the first thing you've done for ages

) but you know what I mean.
Hope the exams went well.

Thanks for your replies, the source of the dialog is the Doom3 game from ID software(I hope I am not in trouble now), I just recorded it while I played and edited it later through the great speakerphone tool.

Amazing music as always, Chris.
I understand what you mean about how to process the vocal track in my tune now

And what great speakerphone tool might that be.
I have a couple of so called lo-fi effects that work well for certain vocals, but the tool you are using is perfect for use with a video I am adding music to.
I am suppose to add a voice over of a Helicopter Tour Guide in the Grand Canyon, and I have tried everything.
I do have the Helicopter sounds from my libraries and can fade them using Gigapulse mic placements and IR's but the voice you used is what I am looking for.
