So I have a Luna II, just dropped it into a new computer, fresh install of Scope 4.0, and I have two things pop up on starting Scope as well as when starting Cubase 4.

First it pops up with the error message: Can't Find DSP file MIDI Channel Filter - please check installation

I click "OK" on that error message, and it pops up with: Can't Find DSP file Apollo SP-DIF Dest - please check installation.

SO, I checked the installation, by uninstalling everything, re-downloading Scope 4.0 from the FTP server, and running the installation again. Basically doing a "by the book" install, just like the first time.

After I start a DAW such as Cubase, it tells me "Luna II cannot be used in XTC mode", and I'm stuck with nothing.

Any help would be appreciated!

the can't find dsp xxxxxx message is an installer error that eems to happen mainly when installing from a downloaded version on a cd. i don't get this error when i install off of the desktop. anyway, if the issue arises again, do a search for valis batchfile and you'll find a bit of script to fix the error. you can fix the error manually by finding the file, choosing properties and unchecking "read only". you can also trash the file and recopy it manually from the install files.

are you using xtc mode? if not, on the scope live bar go to set/settings/global and uncheck "enable xtc mode".

Valis batchfile it is! Thanks for the tip. I was installing from the desktop, so that's odd.

I do use XTC mode, or would if it worked...have yet to get that to happen.
