Sorry I wasn't at the show this time, I hope Brian gave you a good demo!

We use the 600Mhz Blackfins. They are amazing, but fixed point, which is only a problem if you are the one writing the code. :D

Tell me about it.

I am selling everything I own just to have an XITE-1, Solaris, and a Model 7.

And I still drive around a piece of shit truck and car so I can have a good rig.

One day I shall roll into battle with the above, and a military spec'd Hummer.

It is only a dream right now, but I usually turn my dreams into reality after a Spartanistic life style and hard work.

we don't have that much space in front of the house here in Long Beach. it's tough to find parking for a compact. i have space in the back off the alley, but i already have cars in there and that's way too long to make the turn into the gate off of the narrow alley. this one's bigger than the last....

actually, that looks like Long Beach, about 15-20 minutes from where i live(i see the freeway in the backround and the garbage in the street). there's obviously some parking there(no aprtments), but i bet it'd be a problem at night....

it depends...it often is also just regulation of contrasting interests between citizens, given scarcity of room.
One can discuss the level of the sanction, but the need for central regulation is a fact (from owm experience also, as I got me a VW T3 camperbus).
Think of habitants with a car against shopping tourists for example.
Or shop owners claiming offload garantees, etc.
I'm begging you to confirm the elite is not involved, not in this case :-D

there's no excuse for laws that make it impossible for residents to get parking on the streets that are there to serve them, and allow tow companies to make a fortune at their own discretion... i understand the idea behind such laws and i support them in principle, but not to the detriment of those that the laws are there to serve.

now please get off my jock, i was only showing solidarity with the man! :) of course i'm assuming that he's in the right, and there's the chance that he's not. still, there's no need for you always to defend those guys who don't give a damn about you....

wow, ot on this ot thread already!

there isn't.

they don't care about you, at all. you care about them.

still, we can have this arguement on another thread or, maybe if we're fortunate enough to have the time and place, we can have a nice meal, sit down and argue this properly, maybe for a week. you'll feel less personally threatened by my thinking then. perhaps, since they pay you well and give vacations where you are, perhaps you will visit me in my hovel someday and i can show you some of what i'm talking about.... :)

don't wait too long, fascists often hate people like me...i don't hate them, just the things that they do that make trouble for myself and others..

I like the general idea and most of the execution of parking tickets!

What I don't like is people parking in the corner of crossroads. It makes very dangerous situations for people riding bicykles.

Also, I don't like when rich people in their big cars drive and park in pedestrian streets when they go shopping.

This is just two examples of why I find very little reason to be mad at a law that fundamentally (tries to) force people to behave respectfully to others - since they seam uncapable to do so without a financial incentive.

I think there is very much "excuse" for a law that makes people - if not think, then at least to some extend act - like the world in fact does not spin around themselves.

No matter who came up with these laws, they do act to protect us against people who doesn't give a damn about us.

I'll let you know. Her Monitor man is a buddy of mine and I'll see if I can get close enough to ask her Friday.

But that my friend would be the epitamy of a Sore Dick Deal.

Fergie on Friday, Joss Stone on Saturday........this town is so decadent.
