Hello. You know
Jabba, right.
If you were interviewing Jabba, what would you ask him?

what? Is this for an assignment or something...
Anyhow.. Jabba the hut is an interesting business figure I'd assume. There are a couple of things I remember from the movie that makes him unique: (other than his figure and strange diet)
1. He has a seemingly well structured, huge organization.
2. He is a loan shark, a businessman
3. He likes music. Or at least he has gigging musicians on the premise.
4. He likes alcoholic beverages, or something similar in their culture
5. Seems he's been around forever.
From all this, I'd ask these questions:
1. Why his organization succeeds. There's got to be some sort of structure that evolved from trial and error that allows him to maintain such a diverse group of people, in such high numbers.
2. His viewpoint of the surrounding (near by planets?) economy, and the role his operation plays in it. Perhaps his future plans, and current efforts.
3. Who deals with booking and finding performers. Also general trends as he sees it.
4. Types of beverages. Particularly cultural difference amongst different races, if there are any.
5. How shady businessmen of his sort have changed over the course of time. Especially in relationship with the changes in governing bodies.
6. Finally, I'd ask for his viewpoints on the whole rebel / empire political clash.
Some other more detailed questions would be:
1. Challenges in managing a diverse organization.
2. Competition in nearby markets.
3. Alliance in nearby markets.
4. People / figures of great inspiration when he was growing up.
I think this is unrelated to whether it's Jabba or not. Any sort of successful person in the shady world has a very interesting story to tell, as I learned from my dad's friend who was a work for hire assassin for the Taiwanese version of the Yakuza. They have real problems, and have to come up with real solutions, being very creative. (not just shoot your way through like in movies) The most successful ones are the smartest, who gets the most done with the least amount of sacrifices.
Thank you.

Thanks for putting so much thought into this! And you're absolutely right with all the things you said, I totally agree. Creativity is key, whatever you'll do.
Music and alcoholic beverages are sweet too

Doumo arigatou!
