NY Governor Is My Kind of Guy !!

Once again an imperfect human will be forced out of office for following his instincts.

I agree he should be punished for being caught. In my Spartanistic world, crimes are a necessity for better maturity, and should be chalked up as a great experience. Being caught is the only crime.

It is part of being human. The Chinese culture is far older than most others and they recognized this " flaw " and described it as Ying & Yang. Our capabilities of having such beautiful dreams, and horrible nightmares is part of human history.

He has a beautiful wife, even though she is slightly older, and his mistress is extremely beautiful. I think he has great taste, and this qualifys him as a great leader. Afterall he is experiencing things many normal people wouldn't have ever encountered. That only sharpens his skills as an administrator,

He is however an idiot for being caught. He should have had agreements made that would have covered his ass a little better. Anyone w/ foresight, could see that this woman had to know who he was and make her sign an agreement where any profits she made from his exposure would have been forfeited over to him, She was making 100,000 USD per month, now she will make a deal and stay out of jail, while making millions exposing the rest of her clients. She should be the Governor, as she will have learned a valuable political experience during this debacle.

I would be ashamed only for being stupid enough to be caught with my britches down, and no way of pulling them back up.

But he sure had good taste in women, sadly as he followed his penis, his brain ceased functioning. And t5hat is why he should retire from politics. Men who never get caught chasing their fantasies while in such positions are all over the beltway. Those are the best actors/politicians IMHO.

I would love to be a politician.

Stay up all night playing Scope and banging Ho's. All decisions made would be done from a more " relaxed state of mind ".

I feel sorry for his wife. The prostitute is earning a lot of money from this with enormous sales of her music. I kind of like her. In my opinion prostitution should be legal. When women marry for money, it is prostitution. Prostitution and drug laws need reform but it is unlikely to happen. I blame the church for a lot of this. The church wants a monopoly on morality control. Sex outside of marriage is a sin as is birth control.

Apart from the fact that the guy goes out and fights against his own morals, That's just plain cowardice, and then to top it off he says I admit I did wrong and accept the full responsabilty, or words to that effect , He's a loser, it's written all over his face.Don't try and rationalise it, It's blatant dishonesty and should be treated as such, Oh sorry, or are you a democracy.

Sorry for being european, but are you implying that he/she did anything illegal?

Yes it is illegal. He is no bigger a hypocrite than politicians such as Gore and Obama who smoke a lot of pot as young men then say it is wrong and people should be punished for it. If being a hypocrite is a crime, which is what you seem to be saying, then all politicians would be in jail. It should be between him and his wife. I have mixed feelings about this. I don't think it should be a crime but it's poetic justice since he prosecuted escort services. The biggest immoral part was that he hurt his wife and children.

Why, you don't know her? What if she's worst than him? Maybe she didn't give him pussy for a long time, what was he supposed to do? Let tension build up and screew up the city of NY? I see it as mercy fucking for the benefit of the citizens of NY city.

It's illegal everywhere but in Nevada where it is tightly regulated. That is common knowledge here.

It's illegal but rarely are the customers punished unless they are caught by cops posing as prostitutes on the street, thus the rich men usually get away with it.

it's like a Japanese noble needing to commit seppuku. most likely he was outed for the circus, he's a sacrifice. the service in question "serviced" a number of high level persons, a rumor heard from the Madame's own mouth is that Cheney may have been a customer as well. you don't see the rest of them swinging in the wind.

i believe it was cellphones that took him down.

a really funny, ironic twist to the story is that he is an "anti-corruption" candidate. how often are the "anti-corruption" guys the ones involved in scandals?!!

I don't understand why the rest of the USA doesn't come to Las Vegas?

Prostitution is legal, and the babes are regulated by the state and are free of disease.

Marijuana will be legal within 3 years, there are no taxes, gas is cheap, you can walk down the street with a beer in your hand, and a gun on your hip,....musicians can earn a decent living and perform intoxicated, the Mayor was the Mafia'a lawyer for decades, movie stars, swimming pools that change colors,.............why pay 5000 USD for a peice of ass, when you can have the royal treatment for 1 large?

I dunno. I guess I just love Lake Tahoe,Las Vegas, and Nevada. It is the last bastion of real freedom in the states IMO.

We even have numerous squadrons of thje F22 Raptors and the new Osprey's flying around for protection.

Our politicians are very corrupt, and that's why we love them. They bang ho's all the time and never get caught.

Remember the Eric Clapton song I shot the Sheriff?

I will buy this girls CD if she sings that song and changes the words to......I fucked the Gov'nr,...but I didn't ball his Deputy.

yea, I guess if they were serious about the prostitution thing, then she'd be in big trouble too right? Or was it that for some reason only the governor was put down for soliciting prostitution. Prostitutes have to be caught in the act? Not sure.. Blah blah, there's really no victim. It's business, just like gigging musicians I think. You get paid enough, you'll play Jump, or any other tune you hate. I'm sure call girls have their job related complications, and other challenges that they have to overcome to beat the competition. It's only fair they get compensated for their work. (if they choose to be in the business in the first place)

I mean, it's not like she was an under aged sex slave from some remote place in China. There are plenty of those, and I'm sure the effort everyone's putting into this little case could be directed to more pressing problems. Who gives a crap about what government officials spend their money on. Screwing a call girl is probably as healthy as it gets.

Feel sorry for the governor too. I agree with gary, it was probably a needed sacrifice from the ruling powers. Not sure why, but be it a distraction from something more awful, or a way to keep someone else from being caught, he had to take one for the team.

bleh, there are more important issues.

The morality wars could be a way to employ people.

Consider this: with current technology, we could easily set up cameras and ticket every single person who speeds on the highway. This would dry up a major source of funding for municipalities so it will never happen. Could it be we want crime? We also want to be able to commit certain crimes.

A study of sexual response recently showed that danger or depression can increase sexual desire. Prostitution sex could increase the sexual stimulation.

I have noticed that about 9 out of 10 people do not signal when they switch lanes, even when they are right in front of you at a high speed.

OT:

I can not understand why anyone would vacation in Vegas. It is so tacky, such a contrast to the surrounding beautiful zen-like desert.

that is BULLFLOP sir. there have been SO many European politicians taken down by sex and corruption scandals, i can't count them all. every other French comedy is about a corrupt politician who hangs out with either gangsters or whores. the Japanese and Africans, not to mention the South Americans and Chinese all have had plenty of these scandals. it's a government problem, a power problem. it's why those in power need to be watched. they often succumb to temptation, this time some minor sexual pecadillo, but much worse is abuse of power which almost never is punished...

nonsense.
sexual scandals have taken down leaders everywhere. a double standard exists EVERYWHERE, and although it's really none of the government's business, prostitution is a destructive thing(though the girls are sweet).

at least we don't demand that our unemployed women take up the sex trade if they want protection and government benefits....

I love professionals, they are really very sharing folks.

I miss playing the Rock and Roll clubs of Reno / Tahoe.

Groups of these fine Hussie's would frequent there after a 3 week work period w/ wads of cash and big hearts.

Guys like me never were allowed to pull a dime out of our pockets.

I hope to experience this again someday, those were the days my friends.
