Hi everybody.
I'm a sp4.5 user.
I downloaded some OXE(no keys) files from Sonic-Core. ..
Like ; Trns_Designer_v3.oxe

I tried evrythink but I cant install.
first I coppied to OXE folder, then I restart Scope .but didn't work and tom come problem notice...

"cannot find the directory for devices and modules!Please check the 'device diresctory' in the settings dialog"

Please help me ,what must I do now

you can't use those unless you have a key.

ooops, didn't see this topic before and I have the same problem since a year 1/2:

I never received any key for SBC plugin when I upgraded to v4.5. I searched and looked the files again several times and this morning, I decided to try the install of the oxe_nokeys and after installation, it asked for the activation key.

I have addressed it to Ralf this morning but I don't honestly know if it's a miss or sthg that has changed during the v4.5 upgrade package lifetime.
We'll see...

Same here with Brainworx update.

I think I'll look in 4.5 folder tomorrow.
The keys are already in the registry but no devices were visible.

I also same problem

some people reported that they have TD up and running, so search for these posts and ask them.
it is for sure manually done by copying the dev files from 4.x backup folders over to 5.0, as well as all necessary dsp files and stuff, but since there is no official file list it's mostly trial and error until you found everything.

but there is no folder OXE
in release scope 5,

that's right. there was an executable in scope 4.5 that unpacked oxe files at scope startup if found in the oxe folder. you could even register this exe as standard application for oxe files.

there is no such mechanism in scope5, so you can't use those oxe files with 5.0.
but if you used them in scope 4.5 all files necessary are distributed across your scope 4 folder, if you backup'ed it.
start with the dev files in the devices folder (copy them over to your 5.0 installation) and watch for missing .dsp popups.
copy them from your old dsp folder to the new one, as well as the presets to the presets folder.
can't tell if their names always reflect the corresponding device, so it will take some time.

other people got it working, and so will you

the DSP file is called SPLTDP3.dsp
the rest is the mono and stereo modules from the respective folders
