Sonar 7.02 and SLAVE in XTC mode is possible?

Hi to all.
After a lot of years (since 2001) using my 3 boards into SFP environment i've
decided to try XTC mode with SONAR 7.02.
After some days of tweaks Sonar and XTC is now finally working (i've used the old Directixer 2.5 adapter coz the Cakewalk one seems that don't work!).
Well the problem now is that :
I use a Focusrite Voicemaster Pro as a pre to record voices that goes into
my Pulsar II with an S/PDIF digital connection.
I must set the SFP master clock as "SLAVE" to avoid clicks and to sync coz the Focusrite act only as a master.
I've used it for months with no problems into SFP environment (no glitchs and no clicks).
Now with XTC enabled seems that SFP act only as a master!!!!
I've try to save an XTCProject set to slave but seems that every time i open SONAR in XTC , SFP switch to MASTER!
SONAR have no clock switch (if i not go wrong Cubase have it).
There's any workaround?I need it only when i record vocals (when i turn on the Focusrite).
I need a syncplate to do that (i hope not!!)?
Thanx in advance and best regards.

Oh yes works for me too except for the glitch and clicks coming from s/pdif!
I confirm that seems that XTC don't stay in SLAVE when selected, switchs every time to MASTER.
There's a workaround?A cset.ini command line to add?

Found that from Cakewalk forum :

The proviso is that you have to use Pulsar as the master clock on the system - there's a limitation in SONAR's ASIO implementation that it doesn't correctly pass sync information through to the SCOPE ASIO driver. So if (like me - pah), you've got an external word clock generator and the Pulsar Sync Plate, you can't use the high quality clock and XTC mode. I know it's not a huge deal, but when you've got a clock generator accurate to <1ppm, you want to use it (and the Pulsar clock is out by about 50-100ppm: probably not noticeable but...).

So there's no way since a specific Sonar update?

Maybe switching to another DAW is a solution? There are several cross-grade offers around...

Oh,yeah, and with that crossgrades options they upgrade even my brain to learn how to work with that new DAW?
Do u know the term workflow?
I use Sonar since the Cakewalk days,i've try Cubase,Nuendo,Pro Tools but i find more user friendly SOnar, and i don't want to chance...even if Reaper is really promising...maybe in the near future...who knows?
