I was going through my scope keys and found i had a couple of things to install (i recently got 3 cards, all with various things)

anyways first of all there is a thing called "Spectral balance Controller" which i can not find on soniccore nokeys download site (i dont even know what it does but it sounds cool )

the other was zarg ambient 3 which downloaded fine, and works. some presets are looking for a sample called "thing A" and possibly others.

i forgot how great that synth was!

don't know about "thing a", but the SBC is part of the 4.5 install...

i have scope 4.0 but a key for sbc? does that make sense? not to me if its part of 4.5

maybe its 4.5 key i ought to try installing it

when i bought Rotor Jr. back in the days i seem to remember the .wav files was sent as a seperate file...

Hi Neutron,

The Ambient "things" live in my Scope_4_5\Samples directory. 2 of 'em. THING A -L.s & THING A -L.s . Some of the Ambient presets need them for the Wave Osc slots. Some don't. Some use just one and some two. L = left and R = right. I asked John B why they weren't loading and he said that it's 'cos the "search path" in the bottom right hand corner of the Pan&ModFX page is different to the actual path to my samples directory. Ambient is looking for a different path to the samples directory. It's lookin' in the wrong place. Not sure if I explained that too good.

He suggested when a preset is called up that doesn't load correctly one can drag and drop the "things" from wherever they are out of the FileBrowser into the L & R Wave Osc slots. Then save that preset with it's original name so it will come back correctly when recalled again.

thank you, that worked fine. i just changed the samples path in settings that came up when it looked for the sample.

and, yes, if you bought 4.5, you will have a key for it. if not, there's no need to try.

thing is someone elso bought the cards, so they may have bough 4.5, im just trying to figure out if i should buy it again or not.

ask ralf to send you the most current keyfile. maybe you mention that you'd like to know whether this is 4.5 or not. if SBC is in the list of keys, it is 4.5 anyway.
