scope pro SFP 4.5 installation problems - wait for 5.0?

I recently purchased a scope professional card (in anticipation of 5.0) and I've been playing around with it in 4.5, which installed for the most part, however there seem to be some components missing. I get errors that say suchandsuch a file is missing check your installation. When I first installed using the CD that came with the card, some tau filter or other was missing that prevented vectron, pro12 and some modular patches from working. I uninstalled and reinstalled to the same result.
I downloaded the SFP 4.5 installer from the soniccore website, hoping that it would solve the problem. In a way it did, I no longer got errors about the tau filter, but instead now I get errors about the linear amplifier being missing, to a similar effect.
Is there some trick to getting all of the components to install properly? Can I manually copy these files to their proper location?
In addition I didn't get a registration key for the poison synth, which I believe is part of the pro package. hmm
On the positive side, what does work sounds fantastic and I am very pleased to be joining the scope society, I just need a little help to settling in. Has anybody experienced something similar installation problems?
Ralf is super busy preparing for Frankfurt, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.
On the other hand, perhaps I should just wait for 5.0 to be released and hope that it solves these problems.
Oh man, I just checked the sonic-core pages... new hardware and 5.0 out in May!

cheers! I figured it must have been covered here before but I was having trouble finding relevant hits with the search function.
