I tested the lemur at musikmesse 2007 (frankfurt/main) and didn`t find anything positive. The Touchscreen works exactly as the the ticket machines on a german railway station. Point you finger at the top left and the touchscreen recognizes a touch far behind. You see every fingerprint on the screen which quickly turns you into a cleaner. I haven't discovered one point which made it more useful than any other controller. And that for 2k bucks of €. Just a must have like the ipod touch for stylish marketing freaks.

Hmm well i found the exact opposide of your experience. The reaction was very slick and almost perfect, and it really is a nice add to a liveact when you stack a little cam above it to capture the movement of yourself and project it via a "beamer".I think something was really messed up with the demo unit on the messe maybe.
Anyways i think i go for one as next purchase.Thx for the input.

It is a very nice Midi and OSC controller.
It works best with OSC sound devices like NI Reaktor or MAX/MSP because OSC has a much beter resolution than Midi can ever have.
The only flaw I see is that you have no haptic feedback but only a visual and one from the sound.
for those that need to feel what they changed it might be a bit difficult in the beginning..
Unbeatable for me is that it is a multitouchscreen.
this is what made me use it, since i can control several parameters with at the same time using my 10 fingers.
Yes i would use it with pluggo and reaktor. The design alone sold me on this thing!
