a one day result, only possible when combining a lot of samples, midi just for filtering one of the drumloops in the Phatmatic slicer.
and some nasty pitchshifting in some synth lines
especially the kick department has to be considered.
More pronounced would give it some PA character, otherwise it would fit certain streaming stations more maybe.
Yet it's fun working this way, as it's fast.

it's interesting, with sampled loops from cd's you get closer to the usual sound but you loose some identity.

just one question:
how do you make your nice sub deep basses. I`ve noticed this also on the last track you posted, that you have some very decent subbass stuff in your tracks...

Very nice track. Funky at times, ambient at others, sort of electronic at others. Very versatile dance track. Strangeness and yet not offensive. As one poster said, you're very good with drum riffs. Congrats!

Wish I was as handy with the melodical and leading parts as with rythms

@hifi, nothing special actually.
At some point in the proces I spend an hour or so specially to the finetuning of the (very) lows (120Hz and less).
I have a A.D.A.M. woofer which I normaly only activate for that during mixing.
I made too much mistakes in the past for not securely checking the lows

In case of Second Lines I had also to compensate for the acoustic kick which is relatively weak of course.
So besides giving the kick more lows around 80 Hz I decided to put the bass synth louder than I usually do, and I liked it

edit: the bass was done by the Virus, the sub oscillator was a bit less than half open, if that makes sense to mention.

@ Bingo, I couldn't get the tune of a ski hut song out of my head for some days, with Polka in the name.
So the name doesn't mean anything actually
