i have this weird problem that i have current in everything! I have a plug that is earthed, and i have my pc connected to that plug. If not i get humming galore!
and i figured that the rest of the devices would be ok, so i have connected them to a non ground plug, because the devices themselves dont have a ground connection ( the bcf2000 for instance), but if i take the usb plug of bcf2000, out of the computer, with the other end still in the bcf and let the loose end slide across the case of my computer i can see little sparks! nothing dangerous ( well not for me). And sometimes i can feel the current in my pc, by putting my hand on it, i get a slightly humming feeling in my hand. Nobody else can feel this.. i must be very sensitive!

i have my setup in a basement with stone walls and floor.. i have the computer sitting on a towel, so it wont touch the ground..
but i can fell things going through me to the floor.. if i lift my feet, everything is ok! but my bcf is on a wooden table and has no ground connection through cables or anything else... i'm confused!
any suggestions?

use only a properly grounded outlet! you may need an electrician. even if you have multiple outlets, they must all be on the same breaker and have the same ground source, or you risk hums, noise and damage to gear.

your chips cannot survive such grouding problems and in the worst case, neither can you...

well.. the weird thing is that i am using a properly grounded outlet!
I have take a multimeter and and tested it myself.. took the ground of the plug and measured in reference to a plug that i know has ground in it., it'øs the kind of plug we have here in denmark for washing mahcines etc, they run on 380v instead of 220v.. and they have ground, otherwise they wont run.. and there was a connection between the ground in my plug and the 380v plug..

or so it seems..

well.. maybe there is more to it then that.. who knows.. maybe i can only feel this when the washing machine is running, maybe it build up some weird overload that i can feel in my stuff..
