Cubase Metronome

Is there anyway to choose different metronomes in Cubase?

The sound of this thing is so annoying.

After years of a " click track" w/ a splash of verb on it, surely these expensive apps can have other options than this one.

A sidestick from Giga w/ a pinch of verb. :D

Thanks Brotha' Man.

or you can load samples from within the metronome menu in cubase ( version 3 and above i think). I do that alot. or route it via midi to LM7 drum machine..

I just love Steinberg's manual on this topic.

For decades I have used the generic Yamaha Click or a sidestick. After the first decade using the PFL to the headphones and adding a splash of reverb.

Just for the record I have always given the all important click out to the drummer a spalsh of a PCM70, and more recently the 81 or 91.

The sidestick is preferred as the drummer would get a 2 bar intro on up tempo stuff and a 1 bar intro on ( yawn, yawn ) ballads. Then he usually would click his sticks for the 2nd bar giving a 1 measure count to the top of tune.

As usual I became fatigued w/ Cubase but will continue after sushi. It's hard to believe that I still can throw a tune together in a fast rapid way on an LCD the size of a finger, and absolutely struggle w/ these apps on a 19" LC D.

I need to see a shrink or something.

That's very motivational H-Rave.

I have found the perfect click track, as usual a sidestick, since I have used that since the Oberheim DMX and EPrommer days.

Thanks Guys.

I have a seriously hard time with these apps, but with your help and patience I will get it.

Remember how many stupid questions I had when I first joined?

I didn't even know how to email.

I have learned everything about Scope, and computer tips from you guys.

You should be proud.

I have one month off to get some tunes together in Cubase or Reaper.

Thanks 4 All Of Your Help.
