19b,

No. But ReaInsert allows the use of Scope FX and more within Reaper. Which is why folks use xtc, I guess. This option is the same as having an xtc mode plus normal Scope mode. Not what you want, I know, but another option.

This post from a Scope/Reaper user on forum:-

"Using the ReaInsert I can now set up up to 32 asio channels to route signals from Reaper to 3 Creamware Scope Project dsp cards giving me one stereo main out plus 30 mono effects loops or 15 stereo loops to hook up scope effects and instruments. Before ReaInsert I had to route each track from Reaper thru separate asio output, in other words use Reaper "just" as a multitrack tape machine, to Scope environment for summing and applying effects but now I can use the scope effects and instruments in more uniform fashion and just like any other type of effects in Reaper. Brilliant."

why not mix in the superior Scope environment? you can still insert into reaper as well as automate mutes and auxes in reaper.....

I've had no problem with REAPER and XTC-mode.
REAPER has a lot of tweaks though. You might have set something wrong.

Hehe... Franke!

Nah, no hints, it basically worked from the start of. here was a problem with earlier REAPER releases where XTC projects suddenly reloaded, but I don't think that happens anymore.

Does XTC-mode work in other applications?

My initial thoughs are that your ASIO source/dest modules are of a conflicting type.

Please post a picture of your XTCproject.pro.

it works fine in cubase in xtc mode..
but i'll play around with other asio modules and see.
thanks alot!

Always use the correct destination module with the chosen source module.

Try 32 or FLT. REAPER should support those. It wasn't too long ago that REAPER couldn't read floating point-drivers.

Hi,

Reaper can work with ASIO2 24bit module in XTC mode.

Cheers

I always use some form of 32-bit driver (32 or FLT). I don't want any truncation or dithering to happen at the ASIO stage.

It's pretty neat. Even in SFP-mode, as REAPER sports a hardware-insert plugin called ReaInsert.

There's really no trial period.

Although you can register it in your name for $40 or so.
