such a control pult from soniccore like in the screenshot to control the synth and mixer stuff would be great too.
like a mackie control, but just a scope control specially designed for scope.
I like the look of that flat thing..

Good reason for it - this thing is Mac only (not sure if Euphonix has announced Windows compatibility for the future)

looks very nice, like B&O I hope they did not have to make a lot of compromises to the quality , specs, durability, and function (like B&O ) in order to make it look pretty.

note that the controllers are in fact two separate ones, though they seem to be connectable to look like one. I even saw price estimations on the net yesterday (
www.keys.de).

The unit(s) are very cheap given the fact that i.e. the faders are custom built (and no penny&giles plastic pseudo pro stuff). And they are the best faders I ever had below my finger tips. Unfortunately they didn't include the LCD-buttons from the big console .. but then it'd have been even more pricey.
Btw, it's not mac-only, Logic Pro is mac-only. However the native Steinberg implementation costs extra and doesn't work correct (quel surprise).
Beside it can be used in MackieControl Universal Mode, of course sacrifying features supported by the native mode (like eq curve representation, etc.).
The Eucon System itself runs on WIndows2000 server, btw.

You're absolutely right about Eucon... not sure where I got that info although I could have sworn that was the case.
Another thing that contributes to the expense is the touch screen on the main unit. There is also the fact that it is very tightly integrated into the host software, it's very well thought out. Obviously not cheap, but then Mackie Controls seem to break very often. I think for people who use this stuff extensively for work, the extra expense would be worth it.
