I don't think so, there are no Scope demos anymore anyway.
However if there's one plugin that can be bought without demoing then it's this one.
You can't get wrong with it, and it pays off always.
It puts any lame sound to the front in your mix, it can also do the opposite.
Also you can control the reverb part of say a drumloop, as you can reduce the decay part of any peaks.
No presets possible tho, and it's a bit clumsy how changing values work.
But the results are always stunning, whatever you use it to.
I know this was not your question, but it may be of some help anyway

Thanks, Hubird, you confirm what I already have gathered from other sources.
As I´m on a very limited budget,
I´d like to try the plug before buying it,
and the last day of the christmas-offer is tomorrow!!
The main work I´m about to do is a lot of remastering of mixed-down material.
The Dynpara I bought from DAS a few weeks ago will be of great use,
as will several of Martins free plugs,(bless him!) but now I wonder how useful the TD will be in that context, and I guess only a hands-on demo could tell me...
I think DAS demos helps them to sell their plugs to customers like me,
I could try their dynamics-plugs, to see what really worked for me.
Cheers

I'm not a pro and haven't used TD all that much, but in my limited experience, TD is a device you'd rather put on single source audio: a drum buss, a bass guitar that needs extra sustain, or cutting off reverb tails on miced material, actually designing sound,...
In that respect, I don't think TD will be of that much use when remastering stereo mixes. It can be a handy tool, but if your budget is tight, there are better options to spend money on... I remember several freeware devices having a go at doing something similar like SPL's TD, iirc even DAS
Have you got creamware's OptiMaster or PsyQ? Especially PsyQ can do wonders when you put it in your master channel.
Hope this helps

Also try TR1D on DAS's product page, it's a free plugin.

That's right, TD isn't really a mastering plug.
My remastering nr1. is PsyQ, nr. 2 Optimaster

I almost said go for the wrecked bundle offer, but I would shoot in my own foot

Thanks for your input, it helps !!
Yes I have all of the 4.5 plugs, but looking for more options, as I have very diverse material to sift through.
I intend to eventually make a web-site about my musical career;
live-recordings, home-recordings and my studio-work .
With a lot of mp3s to download!
Thirtyfive+ years of recordings of varying quality, and I will have to polish some quite crappy stuff to at least acceptable quality.

as already mentioned, TD is great on single tracks, or rather it's an absolut (!) 'must-have' for any contemporary production.
You can control impact and virtual distance of the instrument, in extreme positions it can even turn a plucked into a bowed instrument.
It will be invaluable on polishing 'fluff' recordings by adding punch and/or suppress ambience effects. It's quite unique in that context.
You may guess the (real) value of TD under SFP by the fact that it's the only plugin that's limited by it's developer to 6 mono or 3 stereo instances.
It's a DSP featherweight, so you could easily have it inserted in 16 mixerchannels on a 3 DSP board - a deadly competition for it's hardware counterpart.
cheers, Tom

I dont advice to use it on mastering, isn't properly a mastering tool (Attacker too) rather, TD is amazing on single tracks like the kick, snare, hi hat , perc and some synthesizer too.
If you want to see how it works try to find it out a video on youtube or at least check it at Uad website where you'll can see some uad Spl TD videos (They did also for uad platform)
A friend of mine purchased it; i've seen and listened it works / sounds the same.
The behaviour is very simple but is absolutely the most helpful plugin on my projects; im addicted by TD

... another secret weapon:
I recommend trying TD in my MS-processor. Transient designer allows to adjust L&R independently. Inserted in MS-P you can do wonders on stereo-reception (control transients of M & S seperatedly...

). That's a concept from a not so famous Hardware-device by the way & I guess this solution is much more handy and with the original SPL quality !

Hi Martin,
I decided to post-pone any decision about TD, and I´d be very happy to check this out, but enlighten me, wich is the MS-processor you refer to?
I downloaded a package of yours with DynaMyth among them, and will check it out now..

My MS-processor is included in the "MOVamily":
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20737 & I think in H.P.M.S.-package too:
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23010.
Using TD in MS.P. is a very special utilisation of that tool. MS.P. just works good with devices which can set L&R (becoming M&S within the processor) individually and where L&R are perfectly in phase.
Alfonsos "MS Slot" is a nice thing too (just up in the device list), but the stereo-inserts in my MS-processor prevent phase problems when using DSP-distribution-optimized devices (I bet SPL did that with TD!).
I wouldn't compare DYNAMYTH to TD anymore. It is a nice tool for drums and other sources with very clear transients, but it is really not comparible to the sonic power of TD. Take my word. TD is worth every cent (I had the luck to buy a used scope-card with it, so it has been worth every cent twice for me

).

Thank´s Martin, I found it.
I already had it among all the other Creamware-downoads, but there´s so much, I probably haven´t tried half of it yet.
And there´s still a lot more to find and download.
I love this stuff, I´m like a child on an endless birthday-party!
Your Moveq-family needs some closer inspection, I have used the Moveq a lot but need to really learn how to use it / them properly. Powerful stuff!
Cheers
