I found this on youtube, my favourite prog group ever. It's an Italian group with a Greek singer, born in Egypt. The style is deeply mediterranean, energy is...exploding! Pretty rare stuff...well no more now! :D

let it grow:

Fantastic to actually see these guys in action. Great footage.
I still treasure the copy of 'Caution Radiation Area' you gave me when I visited. :)

The intro sounds like a poor cover of a John Martin track.

Being it explicitly a folk song of northern Greece, John Martin made a cover too, which is poorer, then, I can only imagine. But if so, what track?

You're right to dig me up on that comment Alfonso. Hey, no offence meant. :D

you're probably referring to the use of the singer's voice in the intro.
That's exactly the part I loved to hear most, so opinions can differ obviously :-)

I know that this stuff pertains to an "ancient" era and that it's not in the merry-go-round of the revivals so it might sound obsolete to many younger listeners, but I think that there is some serious musicianship and creativity. I think also that in a place like this forum watching such a musical use of an early Odyssey's knobs, faders and keys is particularly useful what our tools can do more than some clocked bleeps or space pads, and I put myself in the first place as a learner. :)

There certainly is. These guys are tantamount to being legends technically, but I still think that intro sounds like a John Martin track (Not sure which one without digging out old stuff & I don't know who influenced who though).
