It is new (I had only to open it in order to put a scope board as the bos is too small. I would say it is perfect for 1 soniccore board or several UAD. Perfect if you do not avec pci slots anymore ...

i think i will try it. I might be able to "fix" the hardware to accept 3 scope boards. if not ill use it for something else.

can you take it out of the box so its just 2 circuit boards , standoff, screws and a cable, and maybe the back plate if it can be removed (could be rivited) then throw the box away.

postage would be much cheaper without all that steel. and i would have to make a case anyways.

anyways there is no hurry. payday is in the new year.

yeah, for that price it's really worth a try.
I have several pci cards (not limited to audio) that I want to use with my computer every now and then, but don't want to have permanently plugged in. maybe there is the way to go .

once you go throough the terting, could you let us know how this compares to the Magma? It seems like a much cheaper option...

come on, it's christmas time...
I will first do a new MVP test with magma (didn't have that when I did the first test). the machine hosting the card for the abovementioned expansion will have to be assembled still, and the expansion is still in the shipping process, so don't expect to hear from me too soon.
it will host only a single scope card at a time anyway, as we got to know from jo.

no I don't have 3 cards (I have more)
