She just did her 500th show here, and donated over 1 Million dollars to charities here.

The homeless will love that as there are numerous charities to help them off of the streets.

She has grossed over 400 million here since the New Day show sterted. Their opening act was loving it, steady work for along time.

She pays 2000 USD weekly to the female percussionist who just graduated from UNLV.

Can't stress the importance of having a great ear, but being able to read music opens many more doors here.

I wouldn't have lasted more than a few months. I would have been chugging Jager by the gallon, just to tolerate having to play the same thing over, and over. And Orchestral arrangements are just so " white ".

It was an excellent show though. The stage props were awesome, and her voice, even though perfectly effected and mixed, sounds great. But after the first 4 or 5 numbers, and having to hear Piano, strings, and French Horns on every selection, I was looking at my watch.

I enjoy watching the Ozzy impersonater more. He sounds just like Ozzy, and the stunts are hillarious. He fakes a seizure during a guitar solo half way through the set where he leans into a Marshall stack that falls over, The roadies then race over to assist him, the whole time the music is still being played. They then revive him w/ water and face slaps, force pills down his throat, and then he pretends to snort a few lines of something and voila,....he jumps up and starts jamming again. I have seen this many times, but the best part is watching the new audience that actually thinks something has happened to the guy. It works very well everytime, and really is fun to see.

He probably is really snorting the real thing making this trick even more valuable.

possibly the 4 finger hand just looks a bit alien...

hey Jimmy - if they give me a project with $400 million gross that cost (say) $200 million in production, I'd gladly donate $50 million for charity...
I can easily get along with $150 million leaving me $75 million after taxes (non-cheating approach) :D :P
oops, that wasn't correct - my donation will polish my virtual tax balance, so I may eventually end with $100 million or so...

cheers, Tom

That was only one of her donations, she actually still has her heart in Quebec, where she is praised as a Goddess, rightly so.

I thank Canada for Jillian Barbarie, Shania Twain, Rush, Triumph, Vintaudio, Belbin ( Nova Scotia ), and many many others.

I learned Hockey the hard way thanks to those guys too.

Funny that USA never complains much about our oldest friend from the North. When they come over on Visa's they obey the law and speak English, our southern neighbors should observe their considerate ways.

My favorite Philly Steak restaraunt in South Philly has been in a lot of trouble lately, boring to many people here, but definately a hot topic in the States recently.

Uncle Joey has served S.Philly for so many years, I tend to agree. But on the other hand, most Americans are sadly very uneducated. This will help pursuade our public education experts ( Ha !! ) to EDUCATE our children. I send my boy to private school, and of course demand that he learn Spanish, English, and preferably Cantonese, as I believe the future language of the internet will be Chinese.

Meanwhile back @ the Ranch........Las Vegas loves Celine, and her heart of gold.

No Way Jose...............................

Now, we will be punished by the likes of Elton John, and Barry Manilow.

It's nice to know that live shows are still capable of generating billions of dollars of revenue.

I just wish Vegas would get some rock and roll orientated music, instead of the star search types.

To see some of the great old players like Nugent, Santana,Prince, No Doubt, etc. We have to go to the locally owned casinos. To see Brittany we just follow the papparazzi to the nearest accident or kinky nightclub where 10000 USD memberships are required.

I still say the best shows were Liberace, Elvis, and the Rat Pack guys. Frank Sinatra w/ the Nelson Riddle Orchestra was a live musical lesson in arranging, especially since his voice was more of a song stylist.

Like I said, many, many more.

Neil Youngs Helpless is a masterpiece. If that was re done w/ a Pedal Steel going through a Leslie 147, and a female soprano or duet........Dayamn.

the male/female aspect of celine in some photos and the masculine traits in columbia's physique, a perfect mystical pairing!

Brotha' Man Braincell,

That's a stroke of Genius.

The original statue from France, re-done by the French from Canada.

Marvellous.
