Hi All,

Does anyone know what the max temp is for P2 and Luna?

I upgraded my graphic card to this:

http://msicomputer.co.uk/index.php?func ... at2_no=136

Its passive cooled to reduce noise but generates a lot of heat. Its about 5mm away from my primary card. Ive started to get a few crackles that never use to be there... I use 24/41@7ms

Is this the problem?

Cheers,
CGF

Hi,

Thanx for the reply...

I have 2xP2 and 1xLuna, so I use all the pci slots available on my M/B. Im gonna put a zalman arm and fan over the top of it to see if it goes away.

The graphics card is burny hot... I scared of damaging me creamware.

Cheers

Change setup. Scope cards are way more valuable than a Mobo change or a Graphic card change loss. I wouldn't risk further.

Hi,

Ive taken the graphics card out and put the old one back in. All is alright again. But Crysis (game) for me on this machine. Seems it was a bit hot. I have 2x90mm, 3x120mm (inc psu) . Obviously not very effect cooling solutions..

every set to very quiet, so fans are spinning slowly...

Cheer all.

Hi,

All my fans are Noctua (ex PSU) and are very quiet, actual the PSU fan (OCZ 600w) is the only one I hear as the case is double lined with Akasa paxmate. I will swap the OCZ for seasonic or nesteq as soon as I can afford.

The heat from the graphic card was HOT.. I couldnt even touch it after playing Crysis... I'll just keep this machine for music as I original planned.

Thanks all :)
