Help - Has My PowerPulsar Died?

Hi everyone - Any tips would be great. I have been happily using my Powerpulsar for some time. However, today I booted up my computer and got this alert message "Installation Error. Hardware version 16 detected. Hardware requires a software update. Please consult installation guide". Then, when I hit "OK" I get this message "Cannot start Scope platform. Could not gain access to the Creamware hardware."

I am using the latest version of Scope 4.5 on a Carillon WIndows XP PC.

When I try to update or reinstall the drivers, I also get error messages. When I try to reinstall 4.5, I cannot install the driver. And when I look into the hardware directly, I see a big yellow questionmark for the PCI slot that holds the Scope.

When I look into the ADAT ports on the Scope, I can see the red light so I know the Scope is receiving power.

What is odd is that the unit was working great before.

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks for any constructive advice

you could retry installing the card itself, clean the PCI slot first from occasional dust.
if that doesn't help, try to clean the contacts of the card with decent contact cleaner :-)

yes. if you use alchohol to clean the contacts, it must be 99% pure....

It worked!

My Scope pro is not working?
Everything has been fine, but on boot up this morning I get this - Hardware Version 16 detected. This hardware requires a software update.
I tried to re-install the software but it will not allow me to, I was also unable to uninstall it etc.......Could anyone help? Is it dead?
TIA Andy. :-?
