FAT INSERTS (pre-launch special offer)

Hello,

The FAT Inserts are released soon.
The Fat Inserts give a Furiously Analog Touch to any sound source, inlcuding voices, acoustic, electric and software instruments. They are especially advised before all kind of compressors, limiters, eqs and filters, and the double stage valve circuit permits to get a fine drive that does not sound acid, but continues the enhance the low end spectrum. It will also give great results on soft-synths, bass, drums and guitars. The minimalist user interface reflects the purity of the functional algorythm. The small size allows to stack a lot of Fat Inserts in your mixers, in order to show a great number of them in screensets or projects.

Content:
G= with gain, M=Mono, S=Stereo, C=Channel (ie with post filters and inserts).
With Gain:
- FAT GS and GM: simple valve with pre-gain, mono and stereo
- FAT GCS and GCM: the same as above with filters and inserts
- to be used as inputs of mixers when a gain is needed. Also includes indicators for optimal input levels.
Without Gain:
- When you do not need a gain before the FAT, you should use those versions, to save dsp.
- FAT S and M: simple valve without pre-gain, mono and stereo. Perfect when used in mixer channels which are extensions of your sequencer individual or group track (which have a gain and vu) or when you are used to using the FAT G series, and don't need the gain pre anymore.
- FAT CS4 and CM4 : the same as above with filters and inserts
The FAT CS4 demo is still on ly site download section.

The normal launch price is 69€ euros, but during the first week, I am looking for people who would like to test the discount/coupon features that I will be implementing. The discount price is 49€ and will be valid only a dozen of days. The discount is given in exchange of your testing the coupon feature.
-NB: the coupon/discount feature use Paypal only.

How to benefit of the coupon:
- Please mail me this week end on my regular email adress or by PM to be sure to be part of the test. I will later inform you of the launch date and send you a coupon or discount code to use in the shop. The coupon is not permanent and valid for the test period only.

- SpaceF "returning customers": I hope that a permanent coupon will be available after, but it can't be more than -10/15% approx. This is not sure at all yet and will have to be confirmed concerning this particular product.

So mail me or PM Me THIS WEEK-END to benefit of the launch discount (very limited offer), only a limited number is allowed (on a first come first served basis).

See you

Mehdi

I use to use the FAT-CS4 and it's insert rack, but since FAT-S had made the scene, I can just stick it the AUX of a mixer and add Obesity accordingly.

FAT-CS4 works great on Sharc's C4T since it doesn't have an insert FX rack.....yet.

FAT-CS4 works like the multi insert rack effect, only it has obesity, filter choices, and FX inserts.

The best thing about it is it only shows up on the DSP meter after using 6 or 7 of 'em.

These being offered with limited keys is proof that he knows what he made is fierce. They work on all audio, but I personally love them on my sample libraries the most.

If someone uses these on vocals, I would love to hear about it.

Hello all,
There have been a demo device on my site for a little while already
no video at the moment though and it is true that the "G" serie is easier to begin with. (no vid because my old pc and ide disk is haveing hard time running a few HD tracks and recording images at the same time).
There is a song too (the fat song lol) on the music section but it is true that without a "before/after" comparison, you can't really tell what has been added, if it is an eq, a comp or anything else.

I should mail the short list this afternoon/evening when i 'm back.

See you later then

don't worry, it is.
the availability of a fat cs demo wasn't just mentioned explicitly (or at least I didn't look for it in the demo section). maybe it would have been worth an own news entry? :)

Guys, the FAT's are absolutly sick. Its actually called FSAT!

Furiously Sick Analog Touch

In Vegas it goes by "The Phat and The Furiously Sick Analog Touch Bastard"

PFSATB for president!

ONWARDS 8)

EDIT: I recorded with my new setup. FAT on all mixer channels. I love how the Vinco & PsyQ in my FAT are giving me such a cool Kickdrum :P

http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23068

sorry for confusing you about the title.

There is a description of the instriments used. there is even is a FAT on the voice, and the voice track can be downloaded as an accapella from the Cassius Workshops (you will find links on myspace page).
The voices have fat+psyq for the highs and a bit of reverb but may be they can be compared.

I will email everyone tomorrow, i am finalizing the shop and making first checks about useability and such (it should take me a part of the evening). A small video will be done tomorrow too, as you imagine, i can't really use the voices from Cassius (unfortunately because it would have been a good example).

They will love it, all of them.

FAT GS looks like the FAT BASTARD for use w/ inserts.

I love my FAT-S.

I only need it once in an AUX buss.

There it can be added in wherever you wish. On stereo channels if used in excess, it can destroy anything in it's path.

I advise it sit in AUX 1. then AUX 2 & 3 can be whatever. But AUX 4 is for your main ambience, be it delay, or reverb. In my case AUX 4 is a Lexicon PCM91. Afterall, When everything is fattened up for the kill, who better than Lexicon to spread the overwhelming obesity ?

Medhi's FB mixers have them on every channel !! With filter selections and LFO routings as well.

Of course, there are other options.

Fat Track http://www.tlaudio.co.uk/docs_07/produc ... rack.shtml

About a grand in real money.

However, I await spacey's EL FATTIE's on tenterhooks. The industy is awash with wallet sucking devices promising toobness, rudeness and wotnot.

These are very good. Cool on minimal settings, slightly portly.

C'mon, spacey!! Let loose the fat dogs. :)

They are hunters 4 sure.

I am feverish for MB4. I need to have groups of sample libraries with their own processing and destinations. i.e. All horns will have their own hardware reverb for that Phil Collins gated Tom-Tom verb w/ Gigapulse doing the EReflec's.

Pianos, strings, French Horns, etc. for Halls / Rooms.

Synths of course get SpaceF and Celmo in software, and The Oberheim Echoplex in hardware.

While I'm Young.......
