ASIO Reset

I have a great system under XP but the only gripe I gave, and it's a small one is when I have SFP and Cubase SX running and I want to load a new Scope project I have to shutdown Cubase otherwise tha ASIO drivers may become flakey when I reset them in Cubase.

Is there a way Scope can "hold on to them" while Cubase is still running?

Thanks

In earlier Cubase versions I could find a button named "audio out". I switched audio out, so I could load a new Scope project and switched "audio in".
Unfortunately I couldn't find it in Cubase SL 3.1.

there's a "release driver in backround" setting that will do it, but i doubt if that'll be any less trouble than closing and reopening the application.....

ok

just reset your asio driver?? that works for me! no need to shut it down and open it again.. I guess resetting the asio driver is as much work as shutting down and opening, but i doesnt take as long ( at least not on my pc..)
