Which actual mainboard for Scope?

Hi,

I want to ask the community which actual mainboard (AMD or Intel) is ok for Scope.
I want to install 3 cards (2x Pulsar2 and 1x Scope prof.), but a lot of actual mainboards don't have the feature to assign irq's to the pci-slots.

On elder boards (ASUS CULS2-C f.e.) it was possible to change IRQ-routing in the BIOS, on my actuyl A8N SLI Deluxe it isn't possible.

Is it necessary to assign the same IRQ to all cards? How to do?

Any hints?

Thanks

Christian

the intel chipset always works better for any DAW, especially with scope.

it's not needed that all cards have the same irq, just that they don't share irqs with anything else.

Hi,

thanks for your statement, Gary, but one of the prolems on actual boards is to prevent IRQ-sharing foc Scope-boards with other devices. If you can't choose the IRQ in the BIOS, it is nearly impossible to assign a privileged IRQ to the Scope cards.

Stardust, I thougt ACPI-mode causes problems with Scope?

Thanks and bye

with a modern motherboard, acpi is fine.
