I am keeping the QX-1 for back up, and the QY700 since it's LCD is large, and has never crashed either.

So this sale includes these 3:

Roland MC500-MKII w/ SMF software 75 USD + shipping MINT
Yamaha QX-5 MINT 25 USD + shipping
Yamaha QX21 MINT 35 USD + shipping
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The MC is a workhorse w/ advanced features and SMF software, the other 2 are ancient, hardly used, as they were back ups to the QX-1 so they will last for many years. My QX-1 still runs great and has made me mucho dinero, so I must preserve this warriors life as a reminder.

Next month I will have 2 KS88 Pro controllers for 150 + shipping. They work great with Scope, and I have written my own Scope related manual which explains how to use custom SpaceF devices, as well as others I have had made for these. If you have a Kurzweil Ribbon strip and controller box, the possibilities are endless.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These will work flawlessley live for vocal FX and lights, as well as multiple MIDI tracks.

Any of the Sequencers left ??

If you have any tips on using the KS 88 Pro with Scope, I'd be very interested in hearing them :D

I am especially interested in figuring out what the best way is to control synths or devices with > 60 params (which is the number of controls on the KS) - I was thinking of setting up 2 programs on the KS 88 and assigning CC 1-60 on one, and 61-120 to the other one, which would give me 120 controls...

Yes,
I have the QX5, and the Roland. Both will do what you want to. You won't like the miniature LCD, but they will control both KS88's w/ no ptoblem.

BTW, have you ever figured out how to disable the active sensing that the KS88 outputs? I go through a hardware DMC MX8, and then to Scope, where the MIDI filter supposedly does that for me, but I'd rather stop it before it gets there.

My tip is to give me your address via pm, so I can get a shipping quote.
