Hi,
Have anybody the same problem like me on Pulsar 2.0.4.1 +STS3000+Mac G4/400 MacOS 9.04 - when I prepare to record a new sample I'm to name and find a dest. folder for the sample - well but any other place than desktop makes no file disabling me from recording... Also: when I drag/drop a new sample to a new program it sometimes loads and sometimes doesn't (especially when I try to drag/drop into a first sample slot). Is it a bug?? My friend has got similar setup but on a PC machine - none of above problems occured there...

2. Is the AKAI.DLL patch for 2.0.4.1 soft or for 2.0.4a one? (or 2.0.1)

Hi. I have a STS 4000 on a similar setup as yours. From what i've heard the sampling function is'nt very good on the STS. I sample it in another program and loop it in a third as i think the looping is far from intuitive.

The Akai.dll patch is if you have lots of STS programs made in 2.01 and they crash your machine after upgrade to 2.04.

I use the STS 3000.
I like very much. I use a Mac G4
and the newest Pulsar II software
on my Pulsar II card.
but !!! HOW DO I USE THE POOL.
I go crazy. I hava a lot of sounds in my pool list. but when I drag them to ths STS
3000 there is no sound.
if I drag them from the ordunary browser
then in it work fine.
I must be dum  or something.
but please how do the pool work.
the manual explains this so little.
I hope the pool is a place where I fast can listen and play to my favorite sounds

anybody that knows about this please

I've had occasional problems with STS3000 that mostly originate from forgeting to create a new sample file. After which no matter what I remove delete etc the only way to get it working is to delete the module and start again with a new instance.
