well now what shuld i do ?
now i also remeber that i had troubles in making oms recognise pulsar oms driver, i had to load a very very early set up which worked in order to let oms display pulsar in the STUDIO SET UP.
i have oms 2.3.8.1 and .2 which one should i reinstall? do you have any tips?

I tested my system (G4/400, 9.04, Luna 2.51, Pulsar 2.0.4.1, Cubase 4.1r2) with OMS 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 with the same results - frequent system freezes during cubase launch (only if any of your external midi-in devices were turned on - if they were off everything was stable)(with 1,2,3 errors and 10 bomb error) I found that if You start your OMS setup after loading Luna/Pulsar soft (and leave The OMS open for the whole session) the whole system behaves stable.

I think the oms driver has got a bug - every other oms app behaves similar to cubase (shareware and freeware ones that uses oms). Let's wait for the 3.0 soft...

The problem with OMS is that it has'nt been updated since like 1997 or something. Opcode went bankrupt and Gibson who owned them refused to sell it. I had an older machine running Mac OS 7.5.3 and had no problems what so ever. I dont have any big problems with it now either for that matter. 2 reinstalls in a year. But i do run Logic instead of Cubase and it seems to me that Logic+OMS is a better combination than Cubase and OMS. My 2 cents.
