Sadly (in some respects) i am not quite that old, but it is funny what the MU have done in the past. i can imagine the instructions if you wanted to try and get real musicians to emulate the Tron:Neil B wrote:Oh, Mr Arkadin - you've made my day -
I've spent all morning with the memories of EPitaph & Court of the Crimson King going through my head
I remember when King Crimson were about to tour as mellotrons had just come onto the scene. The musicians union in the UK went on strike and staged a protest outside our local venue, claiming that the trons would put real musicians out of work.
If only they had known what was to come, with samplers etc.
Right, I'm off to fetch my pension

1. You must all play a bit out of tune to one another
2. You must play no longer than 8 seconds
3. You must modulate to achieve random wow and flutter effects
4. You must run round in a circle to emualate a Leslie speaker.
i do have a friend at work (well ex-work) who has a real M400. At work, instead of a picture of his kids like most people have, he has a picture of his Tron.
