hi.
Finally, after replacing the MOBO cubase is working with my Pulsar (and thank you all guys for your kind help in getting to that point!).
There is still a (hopefully little) problem - when I open a Creamware effect in cubase, regardless of the effect, all I see is a little window's dialog, without anything in it. The effects work fine in the Creamware routing window.
Any idea how to fix this?
I installed the SFP before Cubase.
Thanks.
Shay.

what sofware do you have 4.0???
what you are tryin gto do is called xtc mode..if you already know this, sorry..
I had the exact same problems in the beginning, but after a while xtc mode was working smoothly.
take a look at

you can even use scope mixers in xtc mode!! have a look in the xtc section..
xtc mode is very powerful!

19thbear, thank you for your feedback.
I've been working in XTC mode during the last 5 years, but this is a completely new installation, so any info is appreciated.
Before doing all the steps you sent me, I just noticed that some of the plugins DO WORK in cubase, but some just appear as empty dialog boxes.
Was this the case you encountered too ?
All the best.
Shay.

yes, well, there are still some plugins I can't use in xtc, and i just get the empty box.. not all plugins work in xtc mode, not even all the stock creamware plugins! but most of them do work!
take care!

maybe i did not explain myself correctly, but it's only the CREAMWARE plugins that I would like to work in XTC mode, not any other ones. This is why it's so strange that some do, and some do not work in it.
Thanks.

I don't use XTC, but this seems a very useful document to have for configuration and non XTC devices (not all CW stuff works in xtc by default) work inb XTC:

alfonso, many thanks! strangely enough many files were missing from the DevicesXTC directory. I copied them from an old installation, and it's working !
All the best.
