i 'm building a daw with pulsar 2+ ,a tascam 1884 ,adda 8000 etc.
i need to have wordclock on the scope to connect it to a black burst

is there a aes ebu to wclck sync adapter
or should i buy a sync plate

Sync plate would be best for clock information. I don't know of any word clock to AES adapters.

Technically there ARE devices that will convert between wordclock and AES, but they're going to be built to do far more than just that so the syncplate is going to be by far the cheaper option.
