I would be much happy one if all the users of planet z answered to this question:
How much power have your system?
Which CPU and many DSP have your system?

I have P4 HT 3.6 and 2 Power pulsar + scope SRB
total 45 DSP

Thanks in advantage

Host: AMD Athlon64 3500 Mhz -> 15+3= 18 DSP

Synth: AMD AthlonXP +2400 Mhz -> 6+6+4=16 DSP

I am done with this setup beacuse I prefer to play and "freeze" one track once.
I use Host in XTC mode (FX, masternig, recording) and Synth as external MIDI rack with synths like i.e. Solaris (max 5-6 voices) or Minimax (max 16 voices).
The "synth" PC is also used as ADAT recorder for the final mix (I prefer scope mixer summing instead Cubase's algo) & mastering.

Howewer, if in the future Scope Pro becomes cheaper than today, why not switch all 2 systems to 45 DSPs ?! ;)

A small update...

Well the 15 DSP SRB + the 3 DSP home are still there. The 11 DSP of the NOAH Ex also.
But some other cards joined the team:
- 1 x 3 DSP Luna
- 1 x 4 DSP Pulsar 1
- 1 x 4 DSP Pulsar 1 SRB
- 1 x 6 DSP Pulsar II
- 1 x 3 DSP Elektra
so the total is reaching 38 DSP now (+ the 11 DSP of the NOAH)

Plus a few others:
- 1 mono DSP Plugiator
- 1 dual DSP Minimax ASB
- 1 dual DSP Pro12 ASB

The road is still long to reach the 150 equivalent DSP of the Xite-1 ... ;)

2 scope and 1 pulsar2 = 36 DSP
i had a E8400 CPU in there but i took it out and replaced it with a pentium core 2 5200 which can run with no fan (with a big enough heatsink)
and its plenty fast enough for scope.

the sequencer has a xeon 3210 (something like that equivelant to a Q6600,)

sequencer has EMU1212 for ADAT connection to scope(its about the cheapest card with ADAT i could find.)

both with 4 GB RAM

Scope/sdk DAW

ASUS AN78X deluxe
AMD Athlon XP2200+
1 GB ram
Scope Pro + Pulsar II = 20 dsps
needs updating, but it works great & has always been a flawless system.

Our second Scope system is an old P3 with 6 dsps & is even slower. (but it works)
