The classic/symphonic arrangement track "Melody in F" through the Scope boards Mixing and Mastering.
Edit:
{1} Add another mixed track for String improvements as Herr Voigt's suggestion (Thanks).
(2) Add the soundtrack (On Golden Pond Them)
Enjoy it,

Hey,
I love the harp and piano! The sound, while not indistinguishable from being synthesized, is vibrant and alive! (I know how hard to make bowed strings sound real) Especially the piano, wow! And the plucked strings are amazing.
May I ask which sample libraries you used?
Great job on the arrangement!

Hi Leper,
Thanks for listening...
These are From Giga Samples:
Piano is Yamaha
Strings are GOS and VSL
Others (Harps, Percs and Horns) from GPO and the old Giga collections

What is the purpose or point of these arrangements?

Just for fun, my friend...
We're enjoying and sharing the Music Creation (Within Scope) whether in composition, mixing, arranging, Audio/MIDI Tools, instruments, etc.
Don't you see I'm learning a lot from Ken?
BTW, braincell, I really enjoyed your songs here too!

LHong, I feel like you are doing jigsaw puzzles here. This is not what music is about.

Piano and harp are good.
The strings are too hard imho. Try to increase the attack time, but give the legato an attention. Even in this current version the string melodies have little holes.
What's the sequencer you are working with? In Cubase open the key editor and draw the beams of a melody phrase a little bit one upon the other to achieve a better legato effect.

Thanks Herr Voigt for listening and comment.
Cool! Yes, I have the Cubase...will make the String improvements as you suggested!

I didn't mean what is the purpose of posting it here that is obvious, to get listener feedback if possible. I meant what is the purpose of doing it. This is not music to me.

well, all your productions are so unbelievable sterile
and a-chronic that I can understand Braincell's comment.
They sound like 'templates', 'see, this is what you can make if you want'.
Musically there is not the least kind of statement in it.
Not technologically, not socio-culturally, and in fact not musically (sorry), if that means anything
The current piece reminds me at my very youth, during the boring fifties of post-war Europe, when f.e. jazz was seen as kind of devil's music.
A woman in a pant? unthinkable. Panties at the legs? No way, or only on the sly...
Glen Miller was the ultimate stuff to get broadcasted, seen in that light.
I had to listen to that music on the radio, when my dad put it on at late evening, and I got suicidal

.
Untill it even for him started to be too stupid to listen to, and got himself some high-quality music like Sarah Vaugn or opera, and classic music also.
Sadly for him, at that time I bought my first Stones album, and my and his world changed totally, tho it took hím two decades to accept that

To show him respect (gone 8 years ago), I must say that he once had to admit he had to get very moved by Joe Cocker, as shown in German Rock Palast tellie show, I think the song was 'you're too beautifull to me'

Lost dreams...
Anyway, you truly should love and make the music you like, that's one thing.
But it wouldn't harm your music (or you) if you'd once try to finish a musical piece in say three days, including the mix.
You will automaticly be forced to concentrate on content instead of
format
No offend eighter
PS, the track is
really outdated, it's amazingly shocking even, it's softer than the mentioned music from that fifties radio.
Can't be you don't realise that, don't you?
Like you're from another planet or something...

hubird,
I understand your points...
I have nothing to argue with you about the Music here...
One thing I'd say that it is CLASSIC...
Thank you for your feedback,

Allright friends.
This innocent Rubinstein-melody is indeed a light-weighted but classical piece. Some like it, some don't. Tons of such pieces exist, I think it was the mainstream pop of the 19th century. Do you know the former very popular "Virgin's prayer"?
Taste doesn't matter.
Why not fiddle around with it and learn something about the workflow with orchestral instruments. And when the result is some elevator music - when we constructively comment this and give some hints, the next mix will sound much better, I'm sure.
All of us never stop learning, and everyone of us has a different taste.
Peace, Thomas
PS: Making a good and natural sounding orchestral music is a very hard piece of work. I know what I'm talking about.

listening to Golden Pond.. I like the piano sound, but like many of the other tracks, the strings sound very much synth-ish, because of the articulation (lack of).. that's where VSL won't help much. Just wondering, how are you inputting the string lines?
Strings in Melody in F is much more animate and lively.
