remember I keep asking for disco / funk style brass libraries? This one seems like it's pretty seriously good:

Nice ripping sound, although it seems a little too much at times. Seems like it'll be great for screaming brass lines. $600 is a lot tho..

that made me curious... as 'Wallander' is my wife's favourite crime series :D
( a Swedish police investigator, who's a big opera fan and drinks a bit too much too often...)
the company seems fairly new - nevertheless there's not the slightest hint who's behind the business. I'd rather wait until they've added that info... considering the price range.
just peeked at the forum entries - omg - he's from Sweden :o

cheers, Tom

That's Orchestral brass though, French Horns, Bassoons, Trumpets, etc.

Check out the guy who recorded the Rocky Theme song w/ the big brass. Maynard Ferguson, a real trailblazer.

This is only 2 bones, I got the Gigastudio version. It's the shit Kenny, no jive.
Maynard is a bad mofo, and so is this DVD.

Of course one could still do a decent impression of Adolph Hersef playing the Pines Of Rome ala Chicago Symphony which is so good on this peice.

I Think This Is The One You've Been Waitin' 4.

I saw Maynard at the Blue Note last year, a few weeks before he died.

The original screamer - they say he wore a girdle to keep it solid with no blow-outs...

I don't know if warp4 has it there as a demo, but download the themesong from the Movie " Rocky ". His brother Frank did the cheezy music during the movie, but Maynard was the performer / arranger of the theme song.

That movie had the worst sountrack I ever heard, but his brother Frank threatened to expose pictures of Sly Stallone having sex with the family dog when they were teenagers, so he got the job.

Google movie soundtracks by Maynard Ferguson.

I played in the popular Bob Kuban's Brass on the Mississippi River boats as a teen in the '70's. Dave Weckyl was the drummer, and all of our horn players were always leaving to go with Maynard. My buddy Jay Oliver was 20 years old when he got the audition / job. The youngest keyboardist ever to play with those monsters. He quit because the tour bus was always filled with Marijuana smoke !?!? Jay then went with Glen Frye, and programmed all of Chick Corea's presets for him during their reign as the Return To Foever band w/ Lenny White, and Stanley Clarke.

Trust me on this one Ken, these horns will smoke your britches. I can't wait to blast these babies somewhere in June !!!

Somebody remembered the Cheater ?? I had to play that song 3 times a night !!! LOL !!

He was on the Dick Clark Show, American Bandstand w/ the slutty grinding go-go hoes, and of course the psychedelic light show, Wow Man,...really acid like.

Yeah, I'll be damned, someone is my age here. Walter Scott and I broke off to do the Playboy Clubs, where the 1st X-Mrs. Scope4live was stolen from. Those were the days my friend.

@ Any rate that's why I qualify for my opinion on sample libraries, I was lucky enough to play with the real monster horn players, and am eternally grateful for that.

The Screaming Trumpets are only 200 USD, and free shipping 2nd day air, as I would call it " A SORE DICK DEAL,.....YOU CAN'T BEAT IT !!!

I Hope Others Enjoy It's Incredible Authenticity,

Maynard Still Lives In My House !!!
