I changed to a new PC with my 3 Pulsar II boards.
The device manager shows all 3 boards ok, but when I connect my 3rd board with the STDM-cable I get a message that there is no cable or I get DSP errors.
My cset.ini has no entry like numboards and board ID.
Can you exactly tell me the right settings?
I've cleaned all connectors with pure alcohol.
My Mobo is an ASUS P5B deluxe with a Intel E6600 CPU.

You are right, it wasn't the cset.ini but it wasn't the cable either. My 3rd board is broken in the STDM bus IN section but works in the bus OUT section. So I exchanged the 1st with the 3rd board an now it works solid
