Need allkeys.sfk

Hi folks,

I have been using my Pulsar card since 1999 on my PC and it has been fantastic. However, two days ago I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall all my software. Normally it is not a problem, but since Creamware took down the personal pages to retrieve the allkeys file, I'm screwed. I have a client waiting on a voice over project and I need the keys.

I have already sent an email to rb@soniccore.com and I'm awaiting a response. Does anyone know a workaround for the install. I just need access to the mixer and the routing window. I am using Logic for everything else.

Thanks in advance!

Glenn

even the 'system' software needs a key, no chance you have :-)

The only key I have is for the Pulsar card (it's printed on the hardware next to the serial number), but it won't let me go any further in the installation process even though it accepts the key.

the keys are assigned to that hardware number, by Ralf indeed :-D

Ralf should have the key for you by tomorrow. if not try him again. otherwise you'll have to be patient. this is a good argument for keeping backups of important files when possible....

you could have saved the keyfile before formatting. the scope.rgy file in scope/app/bin can be saved and renamed allkeys.skf for the future..

I was in a rush to finish the formatting at 2am, and I thought the keys were on one of my backup discs. I was wrong. I figured I would download it from my profile as I had done in the past.

So much for having trust in a profile hosted by the manufacturer.

I appreciate all the input.

well, actually, the profile would still be up there but for the hackers who delighted in crashing the system....

To run Scope 4.0 and above a new key was required. The key you refer to might be for older versions of the software. Do you still have your original install disks? The serial number was also printed in the manual.
