New Breaks track

hey everyone... it's been awhile since i have been on here... been workin on my production skills. this is the latest track i have made, thought i would share...

sounds like something I'd hear at a typical european b-boy competition. Sounds pretty much up to par in that sense. The sound is pretty much the way it should be I think. Personally, I'd blend in more pure electro influences (ie: retro synth sounds for the pop lockers), and then also create a purely battle-ish break with maybe a mix of afro percussion influences. Sonically, I think it's good you kept it to a bare minimum which is inherent in the style. But I maybe I would have chosen something with a bit more wider spectral range, as the sound seems bunched up in the mid-highs, and lacking things in the mid-low area.

Personally, I'd get more wild with the beats but I understand that it's very hard for dancers to keep up to a changing groove.. so, anyway. it's the old dilemma again. If it's not particularly for a dance thing, then I'd say go ahead and speak with a more robust groove vocabulary.
