okay more convincing may not be the right word, i have tried to find some hip-hop songs on her to no avail. they were either no longer hosted on their site or expired on this one. Could some one point me in to the direction of a scope produced and mixed hip-hop song or username
Im new here, and im almost convinced that Scope is the sonically correct platform im looking for.
P.S. sorry if this is not the right section for this post

The right place would be the General Scope Discussion.
This is for posting your songs.

well, I'm not so forefront with the genre any more, but it also depends on what sort of hiphop you're trying to do.
Seems to me it's more about your sample set than anything else, since they come pre processed anyway. But, if you're interested in cooking up your samples from scratch, I think you have all the tools you need. Since scope is a mixing platform, it really doesn't have an inherent sound of its own.. so there's really no telling whether your style of hiphop will work or not work with scope.
In terms of VA synthesizers, you're getting the best there is, so there's certainly no mistake in that aspect.
To me, alot of hiphop is dependent on the texture of the sound, and that comes from knowing how to process the sounds. Personally, I'd limit myself to a hiphop "influenced" artist, as I use the texture but not much of the form. So I don't have a straight up hiphop tune for you, but here's an effect that creates a very familiar texture:

Not hiphop, but more rnb

Classic hiphop

Snappy, but still kind of rnb-ish

So anyway, not sure if this stuff's down your alley, or if you've already checked them out, but I think it shows lots of hiphop potential.
