Bizarre - Added Cards - No Midi Activity Unless From Scratch

Very strange behaviour/. I removed a pulsar 1 which had no additional libraries keyed to it and left a pulsar I which had the synth
and sampler bundle installed. I added another pulsar 1 which had some toys and a Luna II. My Old files will load but the files don't indicate midi activity. If I start from scratch and construct an original project from the default, all is fine. But alas my old files won't play even if I delete the midi sources and add them back in. Any ideas as to what is going on here. I'd hate to loose my old files, I created some nice sounds with some creative routing and don't want to start over. Thoughts.

A guess: The new pulsar1 is not in the same position, and therefor the old projects will not find it. Maybe try and put the new pulsar1 in the old pulsar1's position.

a couple of thoughts.

one is run the software installer again. deleteing the cset.ini file in scope/app/bin might help, it will be rebuilt when the program is refreshed(it's a file with info for the program about your setup. you can copy it to the desktop first for safety's sake).

the other is on this webpage:

Well, sadly I had to start from scratch, I reinstalled and played with the order of the cards, In my case I think that the Luna II had to take over the original slot order of the old pulsar because it is second generation. I can open the old files and manually rebuild them by taking a screenshot as necessay. Otherwise , any new projects I build are reloading properly. I must say that the dynatubes sounds very good!

Hey GaryB,
If I find my cset.ini file in your first DAW u built 4 me, should I save it to the desktop also?

it wouldn't hurt to make a backup. the file can be regenerated.
