For starters, the Unison patch, which is reminiscient of the Eventide 5000 harmonizer's voice thickener. It takes the signal and multiplys it x 5, w/ a center, and 2 x signals slightly delated on both sides.

On hardware sequencers of yore, I would do this by coping tracks 5 x times, giving each of them milleseconds apart, i.e. the 360 systems MIDI Bass using the Oberheim SEM preset would make the bass quite thick. Amazing what one can do w/ one note.

Possibly making this a device to use outside of Modular.

Jimmy
does the Eventide also change the pitch on the different voices?
I saw a detuning filter on the Flexor filter list....
which could be useful for that stuff, too.

Yes it does, and Flexor could be a solution 4 sure, but I seek devices that work outside of modular. Modular needs to be updated from the new guys as soon as possible I hope. It is not a stable enough area of SFP 4 live use IMHO. Especially Modular III.

you are right, I wished there was a feature to render a mod patch into a true device, that would be so nice!
