PS : I use a Pulsar (4 DSPs) and a booster (6 DSPs)
Thanks

Yes
So,
Is Scope System able to build mixer with more than 24 outs?

Yes, very easily.
... and for free if it's done by RIP (myself & sharc)

Shroomz and Sharc are SDK devellopers, DeBoer (nice name for a frenchman

).
You can always combine mixers btw...

My Lord,
My problem is the next :
I work for movie and so I mix in surround format.
When I mix a movie in the dolby ( or DTS) format, I need to record at the same time :
5 traks (LCRLsRS) fo dialogs
6 traks (LCRLsRsLFE) for sound fx
6 traks (""""""""""""""""""") (for music)
............
And so on
I discovered CW not for a long time and I'm questioning myself about the possibilties for CW to replace real devices in the studio where I mix.
I hope I'm clear enough.
Thanks

Very clear

The only limitations stick in which Scope basis package you have, the number of DSPs you (don't) have and the optional plugins you (don't) have...
Synths, mastering, mixers (also surround, '6', you have to combine several), it's all available (never worked with surround btw), and unlimited number of cables...
You only need multi outs (Creamware LunaBoxes, A16 or ADAT exp. board) and surround hardware...
(@Shroomz, only vague memories

).

Hubird, my laughing wasn't directed at you btw
It was directed at someone else
Please, let me be blessed with the gift of making wobbly knobs

About Scope,
It's ok to make all connections I want beetwen applications ( Samplitude, cubase , mixer, VDAT, fx devices, reverb......using asio ports, analog input, digital input...and it's works very good.
I'm very happy whith the easy way to make all this sorts of devices working together.
The VDAT is (are) wonderful (s) in his simplicity, when you need to "just record". The link with edit application is very fine.
In general CW sounds very good and the plugs are powerfull.
The only Scope's mixers I know are which I found with my Scope (5 mixers, from "STM 16 m" until "4896" an withs this mixers, I don't find the way to have more than 24 outs.
I need it
With SDK could I build a mixer with more than 24 outs?

Hi Hubird,
my guess is that most of the devices you use on Scope don't have a 'wobble' on the pots/knobs. Some of the new ones do. That's all I can say for now.

so you are saving on the hardware...?
@DeBoer, the 'STM S'(urround) is what you need.
Regarding outs: again, you can create 256 outs if you want, or a million if DSP's serve

Phase issues could trouble the water, as you can't phase correct multiple mixers to eachother, but I think you won't suffer from it, if you're just a human creature with normal ears.

No, I'm talking about the way things look & feel (ergonomics)
If every device you make has wobbly knobs/pots, then eventually, the question must be raised ... 'WTF are you doing SELLING defective plugs'

It depends, sometimes on Sony Hi 8 (few machines), but usualy with an application like pro-tolls or pyramix ( a Swiss engine, good) . At the beginning I recorded with 3324 or 3348 DASH tape machine Sony. But now the tape machines are too expencives. Since few years everything is recorded on computer with apllications as I said.
I try to see if Scope is a good solution and what exactly I can do with it and which place it can have in a post-production movie studio.
Thanks for your help.

I was fooling around with Shroomz, who obviously has something new in da house, knobs that wobble...hm, will be nice to see what controlls can be triggered
If I don't quote, my reply (almost) always refers to the last one, therefor I quoted
you , or actually used a 'shortcut' by @ddressing you
I hate useless quoting, specially if
1. the reply refers to the previous post, and
2. if the quote takes all, just followed by an OK or something
I think me on my turn is hated for that one then

While it only looks more intelligent not (having) to quote!

I understand nothing what you say but what I know is you can not do a mixer with more than 8 channel buses with CW.
Even you created the number of outs you want.
The emoticons are too limited. Bye

Well, a second mixer adds 8 additional busses...or do I misunderstand you?
- Reread the posts, you will see what it was all about, the hardware nonsens and the quoting strategies I mean

you're welcom

Cubase is your tape recorder indeed (like Gary would say), and with Vinco, Softclip plug and Shroomzes tupe designs (search 'Devices') you can easily get the beloved tape saturation compensation

-Yes it means ,but,
As a musician I don't want to play a keyboard for bass notes, another for middle notes and a third for high notes.
As a sound egineer it's the same.
I only need a 24 multitracks mixer. That's it.
