I remember Windows 1.5 - wow - what a great OS, with that fanzy calculator!
(the calculator was the only thing i could use from that OS :-))

Some magazines here in Norway tested Vista with the 40 most commond programs, and more than 50% was not ready for Viesta yet.

On the other hand, in a year or two, most peaple on this forum would have a PC with Viesta - and XP will soon become a vague memory.

Considering that XP is 7 years old, I will be glad to be rid of it.

 i just wish they'd gotten it right before selling anything in the first place. then they could just leave it alone. then we could have stable hardware and software and i'd be done with buying, and on with working and playing. oh, i'm pretty much there!

vista noun (vistas)
1 a view into the distance, especially one bounded narrowly on both sides, eg by rows of trees.

So, a blinkered point-of-view, narrowly focussed without breadth; a limited view of the world.

2 a mental vision extending over a lengthy period of time into the future or past.

...it'll take Microsoft ages, starting from a very long time ago to sort out all the Sh*t which will come with Vista.

A very aptly named Operating System! :-D
