SFP 4.5 and Optimaster crashing - good news - not bad !

I don't know - it's always interesting when I go through a PC rebuild or upgrade of any kind. I always seem to fix nagging problems (and create a few new ones).

Some time ago - a few years ago I think - I reported a problem I had noticed in 4.0 with Optimaster. SFP would crash if I tried to open and close 4 projects in a row that had Optimaster loaded. I've been living with this problem for so long I just had resolved myself to never try to open/close projects more than 4 times in a row without completely closing down SFP first (then, of course, I'd get 4 more cycles before I had to close down again). This bug was reported to CW and confirmed although nothing was ever said about it and I assumed it was just a bug that would be there until the next generation of product came out (assuming one ever does).

However, I just noticed that in 4.5, this problem is no longer there. I can open and close Optimaster projects all day and no crashing. I was under the assumption that 4.5 was nothing but window dressing and a few new bundles. Was that an incorrect assumption? I still see other misc. bugs but this one was a major annoyance for me and it seems to be gone. Just wondering if anyone noticed any other improvements in 4.5. I just received 4.5 with a new Scope card. I had never bothered to upgrade because I already had most of the bundled plugs.

Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone else was living with the same problem and hadn't made the leap to 4.5.

Of course, it might be related to other things too. I had just rebuilt my PC but the fact that CW had acknowledged the bug years ago makes me wonder.
