Some Mixers don't load in Scope 4 Software

Hi,
A while ago I upgraded the software for SFP from 3.1 to version 4 of the software. When I used 3.1 there were certain mixers I could use like the Dyna mixer in my projects but now I can't load them up whilst using version 4 of the software due to the all keys file not accepting it as valid. I have been to the Creamware website to try to look on my page but the page is unavailable at the moment so I thought I'd ask here to see if any of you folks know anything.
Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem getting micromixer running, until I found out that it is part of the Mixer Package I (which I happen not to have registered to the card in question, and thus not entitled to use).
I can't tell which device(s) were available with 3.x since I started with 4.0. but for dynamic mixer and micromixer one needs Mixer Package I (as you can see in the shop).

Hi Kylie,
When one or more of the mixers didn't load there was a screen that came up with a string of numbers and there was an instruction to email this to Creamware support to gain a key file.
I have the Pulsar 2 and Powersampler and I first started with Scope 2.04, then 3.X and now version 4. I have used the Dyna mixer in previous projects so I shouldn't have to buy that...should I???
Do you know precisely which mixers are part of the main studio tools package???

yes, that's what it looked like over here, too.

no, since my keyfile includes many cards and all my 3dsp do have mixer package 1. when I ripped them off and replaced them with bigger cards, everything was installed already, and thus included in the menu. some weeks ago I tried to open the micromixer by accident and - bang.
but I'm sure there are people here on PZ that can tell you more precisely. all I remember is that the 16xx mixers should be always there...

Hi,
I think I made a mistake, the DYNA mixer works but the DYNAMIC mixer doesn't, probably because I don't own it!

Looks like STM2448, the Dynamic Mixer and the Mixromixer is part of
Mixer Extention I
But Dynamixer, STM-16S, STM-4896, STM-1632, STM-2448 and STM-48S
seems to be included with Scope Fusion Platform v 4.5
Not easy to figure out what is and what should be

Hi Arela,
A little OT maybe...

...but the threads seem to be flowing nicely. I have the SFP 4 which is quite an improvement on 3.1 in some ways but what is SFP 4.5 actually like compared to 4???...apart the the extra items you mentioned.
Having the latest software is good if you can 1). afford it, 2). isn't too different to the previous version & 3) is stable....what do you think???...have you got 4.5 yourself?...

4.5 doesn't offer you any more than 4.0, except the implemented software

Ah,
I'll check it out...

Hey that's not true!! There's several posts here on the forum that point out bug-fixes & or improvements (sorry I don't have time to search for them & link them right now, but they ARE here). There's also the fact that 4.5 comes with xtra dsp atoms (quite a few if I remeber correctly)

I don't think it was as 'basic' an update as some would think
