Reinstall Wave drivers

I have lost the wave drivers of Windows 2000 and can't figure out how to fix the problem.
It is a well known that multiple instances of MIDI and Wave drivers get installed under WIN2k, and people are adviced to delete from the registry all but one of those to solve similar problems. I have done so successfully earlier, but this time it does not help.
Could anyone give me an idea how to reinstall the wavedrivers without having to reinstall Windows?
Scope has been reinstalled several times, so it is not a bad Scope install that causes the trouble.
