Middle Age Journey

There was this melody in my mind(Flute), for months now.

Finally I could put it in a small track, it sounds a bit like a middle age track.

I tried to keep this track in a classic way and I hope you´ll like it.

When I listen to this track I feel like leaving my home heading for a new adventure, whatever will come.

P.S:I am sure I spell the title wrong...

you know... it's really great... :S

for me it's not medieval - i imagine a Japanese story with lot's of emotions ... a little like final fantasy. history... time... war... entangled in love....

It's a lovely piece Chris but I couldn't get on with the reverb used at all, especially on the "plucked string" sound.

It'd be right at home in a Studio Ghibli animation production though, very professional indeed.

The room is the Rehearsal Organ Room at a Conversatory in Amsterdam. Well, at least the impulse response :-)

Thank you for your replies.

Last Samurai already has a soundtrack... was my first impression :D
I like the first third entirely, sounds, mixing, flow - but imho the slow crescendo kills it, because it cescends into (white) noise as the dominant sound source.
A pad or string section (ok, that' cheesy...) with less loudness together with some 'opening space' transition would be it, imho

cheers, Tom
