Hello Scopers,

Can one of ye please advise me if I can install my scope hardware / soft ware (V 4.5) on my new PC ( running XP Home on an ASUS P5 DH Delux MB, with a P4 Dual core 6600 processor, 2 GB of 667GHz DDR, a GEForce 7600GS and 2 SATA II disks? This new PC has my new EMU 0404 DA card and EMULATOR X2 sampler / synth system installed.

I have an old PULSAR 1 card (4 SHARCs) in tandem with an XTC board (6 SHARCs), which are running fine on an AMD based system under W2K, . I could link the two systems, but I'd need to buy another EMU synch daughter card to do that.

What do you think?

Thanks.

If you have enough PCI spaces I see no problem with that, in my machine I have 2 creamware cards and my EMU 0404 ADAT connected between each other and using my 1820M as in/output.

I have a similar EMU question. I have the emu without the sync card and a luna 2 scope home card. ANd I am interedted to know what is the best way to integrate the to audio paths of these cards with low latency in mind.

Would connecting them via the spdif digital connection be my best option since I could avoid using softwate I/O'S in the scope system?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi,

I have used a 1616m with creamware in the same machine. You can use spdif or adat to sync them. One must be master only. You can see the connection in the sample rate/sync window.. its a red light if connection is detected.
