hi,

I'm experience noise after recording with WaveLab 5, tho it does not happen with Cubase sx, I think it has nothing to do with the hyperthread thing, as I'm on Core duo 2, any help would be greatfull,

regards,

you may need to change wavelab priority to "above normal". it may also help to change scope to "below normal".(cntrl/alt/del)

hi garyb,

I've tried that, there's a dialog that appears when Windows is f**ked up,
I think I'm not being understood here, it does not compute mate,

regards and cheers anyway,

he meant that when you've invoked the task manager, select the tab that lists the active processes, select Wavelab.exe, right click and set the priority

cheers, tom
