A bit of Tangerine Nostalgia

I put this track together in a very short time, just to get back on the composing wagon.

Minimax, Dynatube JM, one of Alfonso's Modular patches and loads of other stuff were used.

Very minimalist music composition wise as most Tangerine Dream's music was in the 70's.

Enjoy :)

It reminds me very strongly about the music on one of my DVDs called "True North" that featured clips of wild life and glaciers with Tangerine Dreams music playing in the background.

Awesome!

Yeah, this is lovely Paul
Reminds me a bit of the intro to Logos and the build back into, oh Stratosfear I think.
Lovely how the sequencing comes in and exactly the right patch and pitch.
Tell Edgar I think the guitar improvisation is perfect too.
It's still playing through as I type and I've decided that this is my Planet Z track of the year 2006.

If this is a simple track to get back into writing, I can't wait for when you're back up to speed.

Do you playn to bring out a CD of your cosmic tracks in the future? I want one.

I really enjoy your tracks like this one.
They inspire me each time I listen to them to make something in this dirction, too.

Thanks.

"back on the composition wagon"? were you out of it for a while? Just thought I didn't see you around on Z.

Spacy in an oldschool sort of way. The synth sounds are very subtle and gentle. Not too sure about the 4 on the floor beat esp with the slight reverb, but I guess a really pressing, in your face kinda drum won't fit here..

Very short time, yes. About 4 hours. This is a style I go back to when I feel really low in creative juices. It helps me get back into researching sounds and effects to mutilate them (although I don't destroy sounds as much as others might ;) )
