a recent visual project I worked on

It was for a chip tunes (using sounds from gameboys and nintendos) event called blip festival in NY. I helped write an interface for a huge wall of led panels that is like a cross between huge pixels and a very dynamic light source. I also was an "auxilary" keyboard player in a performance, but that clip's not up yet.

proper credit is Setpixel (charles foreman), alinear (neil voss), and me for the vj tool.

That's cool! What is one pixel made of in that panel?

one pixel is a bunch of leds with a semitransparent diffuser panel infront. And then each "unit" is I think 10*10 pixels or something like that.

It's a product called versa-tile from element labs, who kindly let us borrow it. It was really nice they were excited about the project since it's one of the fewer interactive and realtime applications of their product. Hopefully I can work with their stuff again in the future.
